Troop 176 is gearing up for an exciting September campout! This outing will be a chance for Scouts to practice camping skills, teamwork, and outdoor cooking while enjoying time around the campfire. We’ll focus on advancement opportunities, games, and building camaraderie as a troop.

Dates: Fri, Sept 19 – Sun, Sept 21, 2025
Departure: Meet at the Scout Hut by 4:30 PM; roll-out 5:00 PM (sharp) on Friday
Return: Back to the Scout Hut around 11:00 AM on Sunday (We will update the group chat with a better ETA as we depart)
Overview
A classic skills-and-fun weekend on the water and in the woods. We’ll knock out Camping and Cooking merit badge requirements, tighten up knots & lashings, build useful camp gadgets, paddle two tandem kayaks (rotations), and do some shoreline fishing.
